This is the first time I’ve written in this diary for a while, how are you doing these days?
I came here to San Jose expecting warm California weather, but for the several days after my arrival, temperatures have been low and it has occasionally rained. From the 21st (local date) the weather changed dramatically and is getting better day by day. I think the rain was grieving over the shooting rampage in the U.S. or something.
San Jose and my previous camp site, Eugene in Oregon might be easy places to live because they have “SHIKI” (four seasons) like Japan, but it doesn’t snow, and it’s dry in the summer contrary to Japan.
There is a “Japan Town” here and many Japanese and Japanese Americans live in it. There is “KINOKUNIYA Book Store” there, relatively near my accommodation; when I see people browsing, I feel as if I’m in Japan. I asked a man “Do you come here often?” and he said he did, during his lengthy lunch break.
I will do my best in practice.
